Inner Warmth

One thing you can’t live without is inner warmth. Make it a priority to introduce some extra warmth to your life and to your body whenever you can. Warmth equals energy.

3 quick options:

  1. Food & Drinks: Warming meals (like soups) or teas; avoid cold foods or beverages.
  2. Sun/Air: Spend some time in the sun or go to the sauna.
  3. Love: Be receptive to the warm feelings of people towards yourself and feel your own love for the people around you.

The Difference Between Empathy And Sympathy

What is Sympathy?

Sympathy is agreeing with another person’s opinion and sharing their feelings and concerns.

What is empathy?

Empathy is thinking about what it would be like to have the same life (including the same mentality, body and environment) as the other person.

Empathy, therefore, is a skill or an attitude based on your imagination, whereas sympathy is not more than a feeling.

Productivity Rules & Hacks – Ways To Save Time Vol. 2

Read Vol. 1 here.

1. The 5-Minute-Rule

The biggest cure against procrastination is to not set your goal to get a big scary task done but to just work on it for 5 minutes. Most of the time as you enter a flow state you will find yourself to continue well beyond the first 5 minutes and the biggest hurdle – the start – has been taken care of.

2. Seinfeld’s Productivity Chain

If you want to be good at something (and therefore need less time to do it), do it every day. Including on Christmas and your birthday. No exceptions.

3. Tiny Habits

Doing small beneficial actions combined with the 5-Minute-Rule helps you create good habits and routines very quickly.

Earthing

Backed by scientific research, “Earthing” has shown a surprisingly positive and overlooked impact on our health. Direct physical contact with the Earth’s surface helps to transfer electrons into the body, which has been found to promote physiological well-being (including better sleep, reduced stress and lower pain levels).

Go barefoot!

Walk, work, play or exercise outside with bare feet, ideally on natural surfaces (e.g. in the woods, on grass areas or at the beach) as much as you can (a daily dose of 30 minutes has been shown to have the greatest health benefits). Another option: Sit or sleep outdoors on the ground.
